RESPONSIBILITY
AUTHENTIC MADAGASCAR TOURS (A.M.T.) takes full responsibility of all stays of the travelers inside the Malagasy territory and accomplishment of the trip, which requires the involvement of different service providers.
However, it can exempt itself from all or any other part of its responsibility by providing proof that the non-accomplishment of the contract is attributable either to the buyer or to the wayward and insurmountable fact of a third party, foreign to the provision of the services intended in the contract, or in case of a force majeure.

COMPLAINT AND REFUND
Any complaint related to the trip or stay must be sent to A.M.T. within 15 days after the return date. After this period, any claim would be inadmissible.

The renunciation to one of the services included in a given package will not be subject to any refund. In case of a discontinuance of stay by the customer, there will be no refund unless the reason for the interruption is covered by the insurance from which the customer is subscribed.

If AMT is unable to provide a part of the services planned in the contract, it will suggest other services to replace those which are scheduled.

MODIFICATION
Travelers are not able to change their stay’s itinerary without AMT’s prior agreement.

However, customers can make a request for modification after payment and registration, and it must be received in writing, and unless AUTHENTIC MADAGASCAR TOURS agree:
• more than 45 days before the arrival of the traveler, no costs are taken into consideration but the traveler will accept the modification with all changes that may occur during the journey (Change of hotels initially planned ...)
• within 15 days, AMT offers the traveler to postpone his trip to a later date.

The service provider reserves the right to modify the service if it deems it is necessary, in particular for safety reasons. In this case, participants will not be entitled to any reimbursement or compensation.

If A.M.T. is strained to make a modification to one of the essential elements of the contract such as a significant increase in the price, after registration and payment of the services, the traveler may, without prejudging recourse for compensation for damage eventually suffered and after having been informed by AMT:

• Either terminate his contract and obtain immediately a refund of paid amounts without penalty
• Or accept the modification proposed by AMT. An amendment specifying the changes that occurred will be signed by both sides; any reduction in price is deducted from any sums remaining due to the buyer and, if the payment already done by the latter exceeds the cost of the modified service, the supplement will be returned to him before the departure date.

INSURANCE
A.M.T. has taken out professional liability insurance, applying to Tour Operators of the Malagasy Republic and covering only the territory of Madagascar with ARO. The customer is responsible for all damage caused by himself. The client is advised to take out insurance, particularly for the outcomes of cancellation resulting from some causes.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
The reservation becomes firm when the customer has paid the full amount of the agreed service which should be one month before the start of the trip. The customer who has not paid by the agreed date is considered to have canceled his stay.

The price indicated during registration is the total cost that will be paid by the customer; however, special conditions for price revision may be provided in accordance with legislative or regulatory provisions. The services included and not included in the program are always mentioned on the contract.

In general, regarding services on car rentals, excursions or transfers, no deposit will be required but payment will be in cash.

The payment conditions of our prices will be made by bank transfer without deduction of bank fees and commissions or online on behalf of the company AUTHENTIC MADAGASCAR TOURS of which distributed as the following:

- More than 1 month before departure: 20% of the total cost of the trip
- 1 month before departure: 100% of the trip’s full cost.

In case of a registration within less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the full payment will be required during reservation.

CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELER
Any cancellation must be reported to the company.
Cancellation by the client causes, besides the administrative costs, the withholding of variable costs depending on the nature of the trip or stay and the date on which it takes place, the amount of which is as the following:

- More than 30 days before departure: 20% of the total amount of the trip
- From 30 to 13 days before departure: 50% of the total amounts of the trip
- From 12 to 08 days before departure: 75%
- From 07 days to 01 day before departure: 90% of the total amounts of the trip
- No show: 100%

In case of no show by the customer on arrival or any other last-minute impediment, no refund will be proceeded. We recommend that our travelers take out a cancellation insurance with their regular insurer or with our partner Chapka Assurances.

In case of a late or delayed arrival, the customer must notify the company whose address and telephone number appear on all documents resulting from the company

CANCELLATION BY AUTHENTIC MADAGASCAR TOURS
In case the trip is cancelled by A.M.T. for reasons that are related to public safety, less than 45 days before the trip, the client, without prejudging to any recourse for compensation that may have been incurred, shall obtain an immediate refund of all sums already paid or AMT shall suggest the traveler another trip.
