Being in a tropical zone, Madagascar has two very distinct climatic seasons:
The cyclonic period extends from January to March considering that the eastern and northern coasts are the most vulnerable.
Climatic conditions vary by region and altitude, but the sun shines almost all year everywhere on the Big Island.
It should also be noted that the island is influenced by the Trade Wind to the south and the Monsoon to the north.
The climate is dry and hot in the south and west of Madagascar, the north and east are rather hot and humid.
But Madagascar has sunny weather throughout the whole year.
