The meeting with various lemurs, reptiles and chameleons in the heart of the luxuriant vegetation of eastern Madagascar highlights this 14-day tour. Light hikes in the parks and reserves, such as the Analamazaotra special reserve, delight both young and old. You also discover the largest port of Toamasina following the Pangalanes channel through typical villages, then enjoy a good relaxation on the paradisiacal island of Sainte Marie — a former pirate haven off the east coast — where a whale safari can be organised in season. Finally you return to Antananarivo to discover Ambohimanga, the UNESCO-listed cradle of the ancient monarchy.
