This 21day tour will give you another vision about Madagascar. Starting from the South towards the East, so initially you will have the opportunity to explore the forest of the giant baobabs in Ifaty. You will see baobabs of all sizes and various species of birds. Then, you will continue to the Zombitse national park which is a home of dancing sifaka lemurs and endemic birds and the Isalo national park with its ruiniform massif dated from the Jurassic era and its oases. Moving forward to the national road 7, you branch off to the wet national park of Ranomafana with its bamboo lemurs and its endemic medicinal plants. The visit of different villages and local workshops will also brighten up your day. After that, you will take the road again and move on the national road 2 where you will discover several reptiles, including chameleons and crocodiles. The humid forest of Analamazaotra, sheltering the biggest lemurs on earth called: Indri Indri, will be the logical continuation of the program. Then you will continue to reach Akanin'Ny Nofy by boat, where you will discover the Aye Aye, endangered nocturnal species. According to the Malagasy superstition, this lemur brings bad luck. The crossing of various lakes and rivers of the Pangalanes channel will lead you to Toamasina, the largest port of Madagascar. At the end of your journey, a well-deserved relaxation at the paradisiacal island of Sainte Marie will be waiting for you. During the whale season, a safari can be organized.
